EMFF is #aquaculture.

The annual Aqua Farm event was held on February 19th and 20th, a moment of exchange of views on the sustainable production of food from water. The event was attended by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies and it presented the Aquaculture campaign. A transparent enterprise.

Priority 2 of the EMFF OP 2014-2020 relates to sustainable aquaculture: promoting sustainable, efficient, innovative aquaculture (read more here). In this regard, in order to enhance awareness and leverage this priority, the MA has launched the #Aquaculture campaign on the occasion of Aquafarm held on February 19th and 20th 2020 in Pordenone, A transparent enterprise. The aim, in accordance with the priority sub-objectives, is to contribute in supporting the sector by increasing knowledge and widespread awareness of aquaculture (did you know that 20% of the fish consumed in #Europe is product derived from aquaculture? See here), as well as disseminating innovation practices related to aquaculture.

The activity of stressing the value of the EMFF Priority 2 is part of the Communication Strategy of the EMFF OP for the 2014-2020 cycle, which foresees in 2020 actions to strengthen the common awareness of the Fund thanks to the institutional and social tools.
